DESCRIPTION
We did multiple projects for Customs & Border Protection at their Administrative offices and hangars at the Homestead Air Reserve Base. We design-built some of the project and some were given to us as part of a SOW. One of the design-build project was a new security gate installation. The work included self performing all the new reinforced concrete structures to support the cantilevered fences. New electrical work and security upgrades were also part of this project. On another project we self performed all the interior remodeling work for the renovation of three offices inside the Administrative offices. We also removed and replaced all of the epoxy flooring inside the hangars approximately 30,000 square feet. This had to be done in two phases because the mechanics were working on aircraft which could not be left outside and had to remain indoors. We also service and installed a new roofing membrane on the hangars.
